What this notice covers
This notice explains what happens to the information you give us through this website. It covers the three ways of contacting us — booking a session, asking a question, and the find-your-path questions — plus the newsletter sign-up and the analytics we use to understand how the site is used.
It does not cover the separate terms under which we provide services to clients. Those are set out in your engagement documents.
What we collect, and why
When you contact us we ask for your name, your email address and a phone number. We use these to reply to you. If you booked a session we also receive the two times you preferred; if you answered the short questions on a page, we receive those answers too, so that the person who replies already understands your situation and does not make you repeat yourself.
We record the page you were on, the language you were reading in, and — where present — the campaign parameters in the link you arrived through. This tells us which of our pages and channels are useful. It is not used to build a profile of you.
We do not ask about your income, your savings or your assets in order to qualify an enquiry. If a specific service genuinely requires financial information, we will ask for it later, in context, and explain why.
Consent, and what is separate from it
Sending us an enquiry is how you ask us to reply. We treat that as your instruction to contact you about the enquiry itself.
Marketing is separate. The newsletter checkbox is optional, unticked by default, and worded so it is clear what you are agreeing to. You can send us an enquiry and receive help without ever agreeing to marketing, and you can unsubscribe from marketing at any time without affecting your enquiry.
Where your enquiry goes
Your enquiry is delivered to our internal team by email and by a private message to our own team channel. It is not stored in a database on this website, it is not sold, and it is not shared with advertising networks.
Where answering you requires a qualified professional — a lawyer, an accountant, a notary — we engage one from our partner network to work on your case under our coordination, and we only pass on what their part of the work needs.
Analytics
We use privacy-respecting analytics to count page views and to see where people stop part-way through a journey. It tells us that a step was reached or abandoned; it does not tell us who you are.
Names, email addresses, phone numbers and the free-text of your message are never sent to analytics. This is enforced in the code rather than by policy: the analytics layer strips those fields before an event is sent.
How long we keep things
Enquiries live in our email and team channel. We keep them for as long as we are in conversation with you and for a reasonable period afterwards, in case you come back to us. If you ask us to delete your enquiry, we will.
Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, ask us to stop using it, or ask for a copy of it. You can also complain to your national data protection authority.
To do any of these, send us the request from the contact page. We will respond within one month.
